GGO17 - Day 6

Today was my birthday and for extra fun we had a pilot go-live for our beta with a handful of users. It mostly worked, but it was a long day and as I sit here I am completely exhausted!

I did manage to fight through an hour of almost falling asleep to work on our game. I added transport planes that drop paratroopers on the unsuspecting player. I based my image on the Boeing C-17 pictured below:

I’m not quite happy with it, but it’ll do for now… I managed to code this to fly across the screen and drop paratroopers, so it’s progress. Not great, but progress… If I have time later I might change it to a C-130 - that’s much more iconic and may be easier to translate to pixel art.

Sas has been busy refactoring my ugly gun code, so he should have guns destroying things fairly soon.
