AA Battery - Week 48

After spending most of last weekend working on the game, I didn’t get much done this week. So I ended up spending today overcompensating by working a little over 12 hours! While I made significant progress on integrating the new weapon systems with the shop system today, I’m now too tired to spend another hour putting together an article describing all the changes…

One remarkable development this week that I must mention is that a new member has joined the team! I’ll let their work speak for itself in the form of this new bomber sprite based on the B-52 bomber:

We will obviously have to overhaul all of our existing art to match this higher fidelity 2-bit style, but it will be a huge step towards creating the gritty 1960s cold war feel that we’re aiming for, so we’ll just have to bite the bullet and do it.
